Dear Sir / Madam
My name is Sean Bryson.
I am writing to you to ask for your help to launch a new initiative
for the benefit of the elderly, in the borough of Kensington and
Chelsea.
The aims of this project are:
To give the elderly in the borough, a permanent high profile.
To give the elderly and the organisations that serve them
a public platform, where they can communicate with each other
and the general public.
Mr John Moore, the editor of the Kensington and Chelsea Times,
has agreed to give space in his paper free of charge for
this purpose.
IT IS HOPED THAT READERS LETTERS WILL PLAY A MAJOR ROLE IN THIS
FORUM.
5,000 window cards are being distributed by volunteer workers
throughout the borough to launch this initiative, due to commence
in April of this year.
The printing and stationary have been supplied at below market
rates.
The funding has been provided by the North Kensington City Challenge
Company.
What we all ask of you is very little but so very, very important.
PLEASE display your window card!
Even if people all around you are displaying their window cards
don't waste yours, please use it.
To get things off the ground we need a period of maximum coverage.
This will develope into "word of mouth" awareness and
is the most effective way of reaching people.
THIS FORUM WILL BE COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT OF ANY ORGANISATION.
Also, why not show this letter to at least two other people ?
It's your future too!
Many thanks for your assistance
Sean Bryson
