My problems with Ms Geraldine Timlin / McGinley of 60+ "Sixty Plus" I feel that I deserve a good written reference, this reference should not include any details of my project with the Kensington and Chelsea Times. Between October 1993 and January 1994, I distributed 80 - 100 information packs about the 1991 Gulf War

Dear Mr Bryson,

I am enclosing herewith the response from Sixty Plus to my inquiry on your behalf. As I expected, it does not take us any further and I do recommend that you use the commendatory reference you already have.

I promised to give you some information about a day centre you may consider using. It is called the Denbigh Centre, the address is 1 Elkstone Road, London W10 5NT and the telephone number is 081 968 5569.

The centre provides a secure and supportive social setting for people with emotional difficulties, including those who may be lonely or depressed. There is an informal drop-in from 2pm to 4pm and programmes of group or individual counselling.

Initial inquiries can be made by anyone, but those wishing to become a member of the centre have to be referred by a professional, such as a social worker or a GP. The centre is open from Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 4.30pm.
