" This will come as a surprise
to many of our friends based overseas but Great Britain is now
one of the most repressive regimes in the world.
We operate under the tyranny of political correctness which is
just a floppy term for the repressive implementation of one single,
dare we say, rather twisted, view of human society, which doesn't
allow for dissent or opposition.
The regime creates the framework within which they declare views
are either acceptable and tolerated or unacceptable and repressed.
It is a framework which defies common sense

truth shall be no defence. "
Adam Walker Promises to Take His Case
to the Highest Level
A British National Party (BNP) member and
teacher facing charges of religious intolerance at the General
Teaching Council for England (GTC) says he will take the case
to the highest level if found guilty.
Theoretically, Adam could become the first
to be struck off for religious intolerance after
being accused of posting comments critical of Islam on the
internet while using a school laptop.
His representatives from the Nationalist
workers union Solidarity, of which he is President, are studying
sentences handed out by the GTC so they can take action in
the event that he is convicted...continued
Solidarity is a new Union. For
the first year of existence it did very little under a lacklustre,
demotivated leadership whose commitment and loyalty was open to
question. It was a great idea - a Nationalist Union for all British
workers. A Union that would provide an alternative to the TUC
sell-outs. Little progress was made in the first year.
Since a vibrant new leadership emerged under our charismatic new
President Adam Walker the Union has grown.
But we want more. Much more. Our leadership is ambitious and dares
to dream.
Solidarity has members from all Parties and
ethnic backgrounds.
At elections we might vote differently and even campaign for
different parties but we are united on workplace issues.
Most people are able to wear different hats!
A
message from Patrick Harrington, our General Secretary.
Adam
Walker
Union President
Scarcely a
day goes by without a report crossing my desk of one group
or another of workers being exploited. I was shocked to
read recently that many construction sites in Merseyside
were putting the lives of builders at risk. In just one
day of 14 sites visited by Health and Safety 13 failed to
come up to scratch. Today I read about how Restaurant owners
are using legal loopholes to pocket money given as tips
for their staff. Examples of the way that employers are
putting profit before ethics can be seen all around us.
That's why we need Unions - to stop the exploitation and
stand-up for the workers.
More than this we need a Union that doesn't collude with
Management in 'partnership' deals. A Union that is clear
as to its function and who it represents. Sadly in many
places Union Reps have sold-out or given up. They often
have more in common with the management than their fellow
workers. Being a Union Rep in some places is an alternative
way of climbing the promotion ladder. I say it is time for
this to change.
Solidarity exists to represent workers not to dine or socialise
with Management.
We often send in Reps who don't work for the same company.
The company, therefore, has no leverage over them - it can't
offer promotion or other inducements or threaten career
trouble. They have no power over our Reps.
When I hear from Posties about their discontent with the
CWU I am saddened.
There are many good people in such Unions. People with the
interests of the ordinary worker at heart. Sadly they are
out-weighed by those who collude with a political and economic
class estranged from the concerns of ordinary folk.
To those good-hearted
Union men and women I make an appeal - join with us to build a
real alternative unfettered by the careerists and backstabbers. Join Solidarity and make a difference!

Bread and Butter Union Work. What kind
of cases does Solidarity handle for members?
Most members know that we defend those persecuted on account of their
political beliefs. These tend to be high-profile cases.
They are by no means the norm, however. Most of our cases are bread
and- butter work for any Trade Union.
Below we give some recent examples. We have not given details of names
and workplaces to maintain confidentiality.Continued The First Issue Solidarity urges Posties to vote "No"
Solidarity has some that hold dual membership with the CWU. We have
also been contacted by some posties who are not yet members of ours
asking our opinion of the deal and advice on which way to vote.
Here it is - the deal between the CWU union and Royal Mail to end
the dispute over pay, pensions and conditions is a sell-out.
It is surrender, a capitulation to a management agenda. It is a betrayal.
130,000 workers took eight days of official strike action but the
unions executive voted to accept the offer and recommend it
to the membership.
Only five out of 14 executive members voted to reject it. The deal
does not meet the demand for decent pay and pensions.
Nor does it remove the threat implied by Royal Mail's demand for 'total
flexibility'. Continued
UNION
SAYS FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION MUST BE PROTECTED !
The Solidarity Trade Union has criticised
the suggestion made by Ed Balls, Secretary of State for Children,
Schools and Families that members of the British National Party
(BNP) and other groups may be banned from working as teachers.
In September he asked former Chief Inspector
of Schools Maurice Smith to review the current safeguards to protect
children from discrimination and the promotion of racist views
and to consider whether members of organisations with such, alleged,
views be banned from teaching.
UK Brains
Today !!
As part of that review Mr. Smith is taking representations from
interested parties including Trade Unions such as Solidarity.
Mr Smith took oral evidence from the Union at the end of last
month. The Union will also be submitting written evidence.
After submitting the Union's views on the matter General Secretary
of Solidarity Patrick Harrington stated:-
"We are concerned that the review was considering measures
which conflicted with the right to freedom of association, which
is guaranteed in global and regional human rights instruments.
In addition to these general guarantees case law generally opposes
any limitation on the right to freedom of association which is
not necessary or proportionate."
He added "Solidarity would rigorously oppose any restriction
on Employment on grounds of belonging to a legal association,
whatever that may be, and is already preparing challenges to existing
acts of political discrimination in the Police and Prison Service.
Our own investigation indicates that there is no pressing social
need to add to existing measures which already safeguard children
from political indoctrination or discrimination. The need for
the review was originally framed as a response to a growth in
electoral support for the BNP. We are urging the Secretary of
State to look at the evidence and not to make a costly error in
pursuit of a vendetta against political rivals. I note that the
Scottish Government has already made it clear that they see no
need for additional measures."
"Solidarity is arguing the case for freedom of expression
and democracy. We seek to persuade. If logical argument does not
however persuade we are prepared to take action to crash the New
McCarthyite bandwagon. Our traditional rights and freedoms will
be robustly defended."
Solidarity has already carried out research (through Freedom of
Information requests) into political activity within schools and
found that LEAs report little or no problem. The ongoing results
of this research can be viewed at www.whatdotheyknow.com.

The Lemming Effect
Or why the very people being damaged the most by 'Nu Labour' Continue
to vote Labour !! From http://www.rense.com
They are victims of a psychological
affliction known as "the lemming effect". Lemmings are small rodents
who have been known to follow each other as they charge to their deaths
into raging rivers or off of cliffs. Lemminghood is an innate psychological
phenomenon, present in most mammals and observable in common people
as well the most sophisticated and educated elites. Lemminghood is
not an intellectual phenomenon - it is psychological. As such, no
socio-economic class is immune to its strangulating effect. A grant-seeking
university scientist can be a lemming just as much as a fashion obsessed
teen-age girl. One blindly follows the latest trendy theory while
the other blindly follows the latest trendy clothing style. What's
the difference? Neither can resist the force of nature.
The power to fit in with one's social peers
can be irresistible.
To a human lemming, the logic behind an opinion doesn't count
as much as the power and popularity
behind an opinion.
Man, like lemming, behaves collectively.
And it could be no other way.
Naturally, the individual must be equipped with this trait.
Otherwise, the smallest steps toward civilization could never
have been made.
Lemminghood is a survival trait, an inborn instinct in the majority
of people.
However, as with all natural phenomena,
this tendency can be manipulated and used for harmful purposes.
You can fool some of
the 'Sheeple' all of the time,
You can fool all of the 'Sheeple' some of the time,
But you can't fool all of the 'Sheeple' all of the time. Sean Bryson
It is this lemming effect which enables
entire segments of a society to lose their sense of judgment
all at the same time.
This research paper will likely be wasted on many lemmings.
For lemmings, denial is a basic psychological defense mechanism
used to not only shield themselves from unpleasant realities,
but also to reassure themselves that they will still fit within
the acceptable range of opinion held by their peer group.
Lemmings are absolutely terrified at the thought
of being labeled as an "extremist" or a "conspiracy theorist". At
all costs, their beliefs must always be on the "right" side of the
issue and conform within the boundaries of their lemming peers. Lemmings
simply cannot bear the burden of responsibility, or the discomfort,
which comes with thinking independently. They'll resist any efforts
to change their misguided beliefs with all their mental energy.
The Enemy Within
A nation can survive its fools and
even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An
enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries
his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among
those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through
all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For
the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar
to his victims,
and he wears their face and their garments
and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all
men. ***
